TRIP HIGHLIGHTS

Angkor Wat Sunrise Perfect Photography
Start your Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour with exclusive 5:15 AM arrival, securing prime viewing positions at the famous reflection pools an hour before tourist buses appear. Watch as golden rays illuminate the temple's five towers, creating mirror-perfect images on still water surfaces. Your expert guide positions you at optimal spots for capturing this bucket-list moment, revealing hidden angles where ancient stone architecture frames the rising sun. This early access transforms your visit into an intimate encounter with Cambodia's most sacred monument.
The Most Intricate,Pink-colored Temple
Stand before the magnificent pink sandstone walls of Banteay Srei, Cambodia's most beautifully preserved temple featuring extraordinarily detailed carvings from the 10th century. This optional addition to your small-group Kulen Mountain Tour lets you admire the temple's delicate rose-colored facade and elaborate decorative work showcasing Hindu mythology scenes. Known as the Citadel of Women, Banteay Srei's fine artistry and smaller scale create an intimate atmosphere perfect for photography and quiet appreciation of ancient Khmer craftsmanship.
The Victory Gate of Khmer Empire City
Your Angkor Wat Sunrise Tour includes passage through the majestic Victory Gate, one of five monumental entrances to Angkor Thom, the last great capital of the Khmer Empire. This 23-meter tall gateway features a tower crowned with four giant faces gazing in cardinal directions. Cross the bridge lined with 54 stone deities engaged in an eternal tug-of-war, pulling the body of a serpent. Built by King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th century, this architectural marvel sets the stage for temples beyond.

Itinerary

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 am and head directly to purchase the Angkor pass. Afterward, we head to one of Cambodia's jewels, the impressive Angkor Thom, which was the fortified "Great Royal City" built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. At the South Gate, we can see the imposing statue of Avalokiteshvara, which appears in the Tomb Raider movie. Next visit is Bayon temple, in Buddhist style and adorned with hundreds of faces made of stone, and also explore the Terrace of Elephants, former Royal Palace, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Leper King, and Baphoun temple, It is considered the largest Hindu temple in Angkor Thom city.

Then, we drive to Ta Prohm temple, which has been left in its original state and is partly overgrown with trees and huge roots. It was also used as a backdrop for the film Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie. Enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant.

In the afternoon, start to visit to the fascinating Angkor Wat, the largest sacred building on the planet and an icon of the Khmer civilization. Explore the Angkor Wat before the crowds arrive and get some amazing pictures and then climb up mountain of the Phnom Bakheng for sunset and then transfer you back to your hotel

You will be picked up from your hotel at 8:00 AM to Phnom Kulen National Park. This journey takes you through rural Cambodian villages, where you may observe locals going about their everyday lives and admire beautiful landscapes such as rice paddies and traditional dwellings. On the hilltop of Phnom Kulen, Our knowledgeable local guide will take you to the most spectacular tourist attractions in the national park, including the largest and most beautiful waterfalls, the reclining Buddha sculpture, the mountain’s cliff and the River of Thousand Linga, which was constructed in 802 AD. After all the crawling, we stop for lunch at a local restaurant, where you can enjoy Cambodian food.

In the early afternoon, drive to the intricately carved and well-preserved temple of Banteay Srei – the detailed reliefs on this smaller sandstone structure are regarded as the finest and most skillfully crafted in the kingdom of Cambodia and then we'll go directly to the Kampong Phluk, flooded & fishing village of Tonle Sap lake, located just 21 kilometers from Siem Reap town. Once in the lake port, we'll take a local boat from the ferry to explore the famous floating villages of Kampong Phluk and enjoy the scenic countryside of Siem Reap and sail past fisherman houses on the Tonle Sap Lake.

Start your last day tour with pick-up from the hotel around 4:40 AM, and see a sunrise view at the world's largest sacred building, the temple of Angkor Wat. Enjoy breakfast and support at a local family restaurant in Siem Reap. Experience rural life at Preah Dak village near the countryside community of Angkor temples and taste the traditional palm cake.

Then, continue to visit other magnificent temples outside the city of Angkor Thom, such as Preah Khan temple, Neak Pean temple, Ta Som temple, East Mebon temple, and Pre Rup temple. Finally, we will transfer you back to your hotel.

Know before you go

  • Angkor pass of 3 days ($62 per person) is not included. We require all participants to have an Angkor temple pass before the start of the tour. This is to ensure that you will not miss the beautiful parts at Angkor. You can purchase your pass via online.
  • Dress code: All visitors are not allowed to wear as shorts as you want for the Angkor temple’s visit. Please make sure that your knees and shoulders are covered.
  • The end of March to the end of June is a crucial time in all the floating villages in Siem Reap, as the water levels start to recede and present a unique opportunity for tourists to experience a new perspective. Although the picturesque landscape of the floating community may lose some of its charm during this time, visitors have a chance to immerse themselves in the daily life of the villagers living in the dried season. While some boats may become stuck, and smaller canoes are unable to traverse the jungle forest, these challenges add to the thrill of the experience. The dry season in floating village of Kompong Phluk may not be the ideal time to visit for those seeking postcard-perfect photos, but it offers a chance to witness a facet of the village’s daily life that is not typically seen. As they say, when life gives you lemons, make lemonade. We recommend visitors to embrace this rare chance to witness a different facet of this incredible destination and truly get a different taste of life in the village.
