Meet Our Team

Raksa Reur
(Richard)

Founder and Managing Director

Born and raised in Siem Reap — home to Cambodia’s iconic World Heritage temples — Richard developed an early passion for travel and cultural exchange. As the youngest in his family, he was fortunate to attend a good school and later pursued studies in Tourism and Hospitality Management in 2008.

Before launching his own company, Raksa gained hands-on experience in the tourism industry, working as a tuk-tuk driver, tour guide, waiter, and hotel receptionist. These experiences deepened his understanding of guest service and the needs of travelers. In 2014, driven by his love for culture and dedication to quality tourism, he founded ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE.

His commitment and professionalism soon led him to become an active member of the Cambodia Tourism Association (CATA), where he now serves on the Board of the Siem Reap Chapter.

Throughout his career, Raksa has traveled widely across Southeast Asia, East Asia, and Europe, gaining valuable insights into global tourism trends and cultural diversity. Today, as Founder and Managing Director of ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE, he ensures the company operates smoothly by fostering close relationships with agency partners, guests, and local stakeholders — including hotels, restaurants, guide associations, and government authorities.

A passionate traveler and photographer, Raksa brings warmth and enthusiasm to every journey. If you’re ever in Siem Reap, don’t miss the chance to explore the city through his local eyes — especially on one of his lively night tours!

Chanan Nang
(Ricky)

Tour Operator

Born in the floating village of Siem Reap, Cambodia, Chanan Nag (Mr. Ricky) moved to the city at the age of 13 in pursuit of better educational opportunities. During his high school years, he was awarded a scholarship from ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE, a milestone that played a vital role in shaping his academic and personal growth.

Now in his freshman year at the University of South-East Asia, Chanan is pursuing a degree in Information Technology. His academic journey continues to be supported by a scholarship from Breksa Travel Company, providing both financial assistance and opportunities for further development. These scholarships have opened doors to new experiences, helping him grow into a more confident and capable professional.

Alongside his studies, Chanan serves as Tour Operator at ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE, where he manages quotations, bookings, and daily operations. This role has given him valuable insight into the tourism industry’s dynamic nature, deepening his understanding of operational management and customer service. Through dedication and hands-on experience, Chanan continues to expand his skills and contribute meaningfully to the company’s success

Sokountha Sngoun
(Jessica)

Accounting Manager

Born and raised in the peaceful countryside of Siem Reap Province, Sokountha (Ms. Jessica) is the youngest member of her family. Her ambition and curiosity led her to the city to pursue higher education, marking the beginning of a rewarding professional journey.

More than a decade ago, she joined ASEAN ANGKOR GUIDE as an accountant — a role that soon became both her passion and profession. Her sharp analytical skills and affinity for numbers quickly set her apart, earning her the nickname “Big Boss” among colleagues. Over the years, her diligence and expertise in finance have been instrumental to the company’s growth and stability.

Today, Sokountha proudly serves as the Accounting Manager, overseeing all financial operations with precision and integrity. Her careful attention to detail ensures that every transaction aligns perfectly with the company’s goals and ethical standards.

Beyond the office, Ms. Jessica enjoys a peaceful life surrounded by her beloved cats. In her free time, she loves walking and cycling, finding joy in nature’s calm and the sense of freedom each moment outdoors offers.

(Felix)

Consultant

Senior Travel Consultant specializing in private Cambodia tours and photography trips.

Living in Kratie. In 2006, I started as a tour guide with a passion to get travelers off the beaten track to uncluttered areas along the beautiful Mekong River, to surrounding mountains, forest, and waterfalls. In mid-2018, I have been impressed by Thomas Tham founder of Mio Cade Photography who is one of the World well-known photographers. Since then, I have started to learn photography and it becomes my passion. To travel to many interesting places in the region gives me the opportunity to discover and document many interesting lifestyles in those beautiful places. Photography skills are essential in capturing well-balanced and powerful storytelling images.  My satisfaction derives from the smiles of the happy customers as my images have become part of the best vacations’ memories.
