Take the mystery and wonder of Angkor temples with you wherever you go on a private tour. Get to know this incredible site, while exploring both Angkor Wat and other beautiful temples in the surrounding area.
This full-day excursion will give you the chance to explore the lesser-known temples around Angkor Archaeological Park with an experienced tour guide that can take you there. By passing through this complex, you will also visit the Small Tour and enjoy the sunset at Phnom Bakheng, allowing you to experience Cambodia like never before.
Today, we will meet you in the hotel lobby at 8:00 a.m. and head directly to purchase the Angkor pass.
Then, we drive to Ta Phrom temple, which has been left in its original state and is partly overgrown with trees and huge roots. It was also used as a backdrop for the film Tomb Raider starring Angelina Jolie.
Afterward, we head to one of Cambodia's jewels, the impressive Angkor Thom, which was the fortified "Great Royal City" built in the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. At the South Gate, we can see the imposing statue of Avalokiteshvara, which appears in the Tomb Raider movie.
Next, we visit the temple of Bayon, in Buddhist style and adorned with hundreds of faces made of stone, and also explore the Terrace of Elephants, former Royal Palace, Phimeanakas, Terrace of Leper King, and Baphoun temple, It is considered the largest Hindu temple in Angkor Thom.
In the afternoon, we will have lunch near the Angkor Wat temple. Then we enjoy a visit to the fascinating Angkor Wat, the largest sacred building on the planet and an icon of the Khmer civilization. It was built by King Suyavarman and is dedicated to the Hindu god Vishnu. It contains hundreds of decorations that cover the walls and the longest bas-relief in the world. It is surrounded by a giant moat, and its five towers are part of the Cambodian flag, and from the top you can see the impressive and dense jungle. It is the most revered in the country and the most emblematic of the complex.
Optional: If you are not too exhausted and the weather is good, why not climb up to Phnom Bakheng Hill to watch the sunset?

No deposits are required for most bookings. You can pay the guide after the tour ends. For larger groups and in some circumstances, a deposit may be required.

The contract is between the Company and the client, being any person travelling or intending to travel on a tour operated by the Company. The contract, including all matters arising from it, is subject to Cambodia law and the exclusive jurisdiction of the Cambodia Courts. No employee of the Company other than a director has authority to vary or omit any of these terms or promise any discount or refund.
Should the client wish to cancel, cancellation charges will be imposed. All cancellation must be received in writing, sent to us via email or WhatsApp. Asean Angkor Guide must be informed in writing. These are calculated from the day written notification is received by the Company or their agent as a percentage of the total tour price, including surcharges, as shown below:
a) 24 hour and more days before departure – free of charge
b) Less than 24 hours before departure – 100%
